RE-DESIGN ANANAS WEBSITE Copy

In this project, I led the redesign of the Ananas website as part of two university courses. I collaborated closely with my team throughout the user experience (UX) phase, ensuring a seamless and user-centered flow. For the user interface (UI) design, I took full ownership — conceptualizing, wireframing, and executing the entire visual system from start to finish.

USER RESEACH
Ananas is a Vietnamese footwear brand founded in 2010. Although still relatively young in both the domestic and global markets, the company has positioned itself as a pioneer in bringing global fashion trends into Vietnam. By 2019, Ananas had emerged as a prominent name in the fashion scene and has continued to gain widespread popularity among young consumers. Beyond offering retro-inspired designs, Ananas has also injected a fresh and distinctive spirit into the local footwear market.
Website experience
Advantage:
The product categories are clearly organized, making it easy for customers to navigate and choose items. A search bar is available to help users quickly find specific products. Clear tags are also provided to distinguish between online-exclusive items and other products.
A detailed and comprehensive size chart is provided on each individual product page, enabling customers to easily select the most suitable shoe size. The return policy and warranty guidelines are clearly stated, helping to reduce uncertainty when customers encounter unexpected issues. The website also features a related products recommendation function, along with user-friendly product filtering options.
In the footer section under “Find a Store,” instead of displaying the message “Oops! Something went wrong,” it would be better to use a friendly visual or a short slogan to create a more reassuring experience. The exclamation mark icon (“!”) may give users a sense that something is wrong or unsafe. This is especially important for users with limited language proficiency, as they might misinterpret the message and perceive the page as potentially dangerous.
